Jessica Dennis gives voice to Ruby in Night of the Living Dread, a distinctive animated film nominated for Best British Short.
Ruby, the central character, has her bedtime routine interrupted by a sudden power cut. Finding herself haunted by some unwanted guests, the only way for Ruby to get a peaceful night of sleep is to confront her visitors.
2022 marks BAFTA’s 75th anniversary year, and what a fantastic year it is. The charming and unique ‘Night of the Living Dread’ has a talented creative team behind it. Ida Melum, Danielle Goff, Laura Jayne Tunbridge, Hannah Kelsois – and of course, our very own Jessica Dennis.
The EE British Academy Film Awards will be held at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 13th March, and will be broadcast in the UK on BBC One.
