Nicholas Gauci will perform for the first time at The National Theatre, in Lucius Annaeus Seneca’s, Phaedra.
Simon Stone is writer and director for this new production starring Janet McTeer (Ozark) and Assaad Bouab (Call My Agent).

Written pre AD54, based on Greek mythology and the tragedy of Hippolytus by Euripides, Seneca’s Phaedra tells the story of Phaedra, wife of King Theseus of Athens and her consuming lust for her stepson Hippolytus.
The National Theatre’s production opens on 1 Feb and runs until 8 April. Tickets can be found here.
